Acorn Men's Romeo II Slippers Aug 28, 2008
By William Paxton

I was looking for good, durable and confortable men's slippers. I have one ankle (my left) that is permanently damaged and swollen as the result of torn ligaments and subsequent botched surgery, so find a pair of slippers that fit without binding is difficult. When I received the slippers, I looked them over carefully. Yup - made in China; but today what isn't? But, I have learned that it isn't where they are made but to whose specifications and how good is the quality control. The construction is excellent. No loose or mis-aligned pieces, no gaps in seams and the durable sole is bound to the uppers in a very solid manner. At first, like always, I anticipated a break-in period, even for slippers, for my left slipper as it had to adjust to my bad ankle. But, no break-in. They fit very comfortable from the first time wearing them. I have had them about 3 weeks now and I wear them daily in the house approximately 6 hours each day. They fit so well, I don't want to take them off. This is my first pair of Acorn slippers and although I was a little leery of spending $65 for a pair of slippers, they are worth every penny. When these wear out, Acorn will have a repeat customer. Looking at what I just wrote, I find that I have raved over these slippers; and I don't rave over any product - usually just the opposite. But hey, it's great to find an exception to what one normally expects to find and this pair of Acorn slippers is exceptional!

Best slippers ever Apr 17, 2009

These slippers rock. Very warm and comfortable but not so hot that my feet sweat, which can be a problem with my feet. Only thing I would change is the fact that they are made in China.

Slippers Jan 27, 2009
By B. McPherson My husband has neuropathy which makes his feet really sensitive. This is our third pair of these slippers. He loves them and especially likes the extra padding that feels so good on his feet. Also the soles of the slippers can be worn outside which is an extra bonus.

By Shawn I first thought these were a bit high priced, but after wearing these daily for 3 months they are worth every cent. These were recommended by a family member and are AMAZING slippers - Acorn has earned a customer for life...

Acorn Romeo II slippers Nov 07, 2010

Comfortable, handsome slippers. I wear a size 10 1/2 shoe and the size 11's fit fine. The sole feels kind of funny at first, but the funny feel goes away with use and becomes a non issue (either the slippers "break in",or your get used to them,or both). Durability...we'll see?
