 Best Slippers on Earth! Aug 30, 2010
I'm back here ordering a pair of these Acorn slippers to replace a pair I've had for close to 10 years. Yes, they last that long! These are the warmest and most comfortable slippers I've ever owned in my life. They were given to me as a Christmas present one year as a joke since my husband always bought me slippers or slipper socks for the holiday. Turns out the joke was on him because I had never known such warmth during the winter months with these slippers and I absolutely love them. I thought for sure I'd never be able to replace them & happened to find them here at Amazon! YAY. Can't wait to get my new pair.

I have severe neuropathy in both feet (nerve damage and pain) and can't wear a backless slipper because I step out of them--my numb toes won't grip to keep them on---and most full shoe style slippers are uncomfortable. But the Acorns are great, love them! I read the feedback about them running a bit large, but I got the size 8-9M, I wear a size 9 shoe, and these are perfect. With my painful feet I can't have anything too tight fitting. LOVE these. Will buy again when I wear this pair out.

I think these slippers might be comfortable if you like to wear socks and slippers. But as a barefoot slipper wearer, I found the seams abrasive. Also the Acorn logo inside dug into the soles of my feet.
I liked the colors and pattern but ended up returning them; I need something softer!

I purchased these slippers looking for something more substantial than the usual foam type slippers. The look like the picture. Another reviewer said, they run large, so I ordered a size down. I usually wear an 8 and I got the 6 1/2 -7 1/2. They are wide in the back half of the slipper, but the length is pretty true, so they are too short. I'm hoping the will stretch lengthwise. The next size 8-9 would have been too big. Maybe if you like to wear slippers with thick socks, the true size would work for you. The sole is a good indoor/outdoor sole and grabs well on my uncarpeted stairs. These seem pretty well made, but I think these are a bit overpriced.
Still haven't found my perfect slipper yet...
