I ordered this shoe in the pewter color and I absolutely love them. The body of the shoe is gunmetal gray and the strap is a bit more silvery. But, you can't really notice the difference in color unless you look really hard. The heel and platform are black so this shoe will work well with any range of grays or black. The picture of the Ancient Zinc/black pair is more representative of what the pewter looks like. I feel that the picture of the pewter has a little too much brown in it.
I was torn when deciding on the size. All of the reviews said that they are true to size but I own 1 other pair of Anne Klein peep-toes that are at least 1/2 size too big. The comment about the heel strap being too large pushed me in the direction of ordering 1/2 size smaller and I'm glad I did. The shoes fit perfectly and the strap is not too big. Had I gone with my regular size I think there would have been too much room left at my heel and the strap would have been too big.
The only downside about this shoe is the peep-toe. I find the size of it a bit awkward. It exposes a great deal of my first three toes. After walking for a bit, my toes start to push through the peep and take on a funny bent shape. It isn't necessarily uncomfortable, just a little strange looking. I'm not sure if going with my normal size would have helped this issue or made it worse by letting my toes slide through even more.
The first time I wore these shoes for a full day my I had blisters on both of my big toes. I believe this was caused by the problem with the peep toe that I mentioned above. I'm hoping the front of the shoe breaks in a bit more after a few wears.
This shoe is comfortable for the heel height. The platform helps take the stress off the ball of the foot. The overall style is sexy and can be dressed up or down. I see these shoes working well with skirts, dresses, jeans and capris. I think I'll get a lot of use of out of them this summer and I might purchase the brown ones as well. Perhaps I'll go for my regular size this time though...

Got these in the light natural color - a deep pearlized tan with dark bronze platform and heel. A dark copper strap is across the back. All of these colors blend perfectly for a classy-without-being-stuffy look. Very solid and well-made shoe, true-to-size and comfortable to wear, even for long hours. Very happy with these and have recommended them to my friends.

I bought this shoe to replace one I already had when it no longer fit. I was pleased the first time I bought it and continue to be pleased.This color (light natural) is versatile.
