Worth EVERY cent! Dec 18, 2011
By NorthWest Was worried about the size since some reviews reported snug fits. I wear a 8 1/2 or 9 so I ordered the 9 in the Taupe/Chocolate color. They're perfect fit for me!!! I'm in the upper peninsula of Michigan so we have SERIOUS winters. I've tested these extensively and so far flying colors! I don't even have to wear socks over my tights anymore :) I also stomped around in freezing slush: not only did my feet remain completely dry but also warm. Even better you can just pull this on, no zippers or velcro even and then doesn't pull my socks completely off unless they're little ankle socks. Finally the traction is also good on everything but glossy ice (which nothing but something with teeth would be good on anyway). I walk and even run confidently in these boots. They get my very best recommendation.

Inner child fashion experience Mar 02, 2011
By Auntie Knows Best I definitely feel like my 4 year-old niece when I wear these! The sizing is accurate--they feel too small when you get them, but there is some compression during the break-in period. Baffin suggests you remove the inner lining and try it on for size. Nice and light. Not a boot I'd wear snowshoeing or hiking, however, because they don't tighten a lot around the ankles, and the soles are less flexible than my Merrills.

A little clunky but water proof for sure! Apr 07, 2010
By Rosemary Dicesare No worries re snow and wet weather now. Boots are comfy but somewhat clunky. They feel like they are made to last. They come just above mid calf and extra liner ensures warmth too. I will get what I wanted- dry feet as- I take to the outdoors. Ro

Seem OK Jan 03, 2012
By Hope E. Moffitt Looked at numerous boots b4 deciding on these. They have a nice look for a snow boot, and price was OK, although Amazon lowered the price twice after I purchased !
I read all the reviews about sizing and dont agree .... Everyone said they are up to 2 sizes too small. I was concerned they would be small so I ordered a 7 and an 8. I am a 6-1/2 normally. The 7 is slightly large on me. May have fit in a 6, maybe not, I am not ordering another pair because of the return cost. Will keep the size 7 and wear thicker socks.
There is plenty of room to tuck in your jeans, and a nice gaiter at the top to keep out the deep snow.
I may replace the "laces" with ones I can actually tie, because the fastener seems to not get them tight enuf 4 me.
Hope this helps !

Sizes Run Small - Returned Jan 30, 2012
By G. Robert My older daughter has the exact same boot purchased several years ago locally and they are excellent boots. Those are size 9-W. The Amazon boot only comes in Medium. I ordered the 9-M since my younger daughter does not have a wide foot. That was a mistake since they were too small and necessitated returning the boots for a refund. I did not reorder fearing another return. I would recommend going up one size.
