These are super fun, we get comments on them everywhere! My daughter will not take them off even though they get too hot in the warm weather. We got a pair for our friend too, they match and they just love their Chooka Boots.
Not sure why "leather" is listed in the materials used, they are rubber with no leather anywhere.
They smell very rubbery for a good week or so. The whole main floor of our house smelled like rubber for a few days! It wears off though.
I had issues with sizing. My daughter is a 7, will likely be an 8 during the slushy season, so I ordered an 8. I got them and thought maybe I should have gotten a 9 since it's so hard to say how much the little feet will grow. I ordered the 9. Only differences: width and height. The 8s are a little bit narrower, but not super narrow, and they are also shorter in height. They look just a little bit more petite than the 9. I think the 9 is probably the first step into "big kid" shoe because they just overpowered my toddler's leg and looked enormous. The length of the boot is almost the exact same, so I would suggest going for the smaller size if you are in the same position we were in.

My son wears these all the time, even when it isn't raining. He thinks they are so cool and loves to splash in the puddles with them.

The boots came very quickly. Was pleased about that. They did smell strong like rubber and I just left them outside for a day to breathe. That seemed to help a lot. The fit is very comfortable and my daughter who is a tomboy loved the color and design. She wears them even when it doesn't rain.

The boots were cool but the rubbersmell it was soo strong we had to roll the windows in the car at times!!! After one season my we donate it!

These are a nice pair of boots...
They have MUM and DAD on the front not Rock and Roll as seen in the pictures
They tend to run a bit larger as I noticed but they look nice and durable.
Overall it is a nice item to buy but order half a size down...
