These are obviously a defective shoe. I, like so many others writing reviews, experienced cracking across the soles within 3 months of purchase. Now, a year later, the soles are bald, and there is a massive canyon that runs across the entire width of the sole.
I literally rot at a desk 10 hours a day, walk to my car, walk back in my home, take my shoes off. You'd expect a shoe to last a little longer, under such circumstances.
If only Clarks stood behind this product with a warranty, but no dice. Guess I'll be buying a new pair, soon.

The shoe looks great, however it doesnt seem to be as supportive as my other Clark shoes are. The shoes look great on, but I can wear them for a day and then the next will have to wear a more supportive shoe.

First off I want to say that my husband found these shoes both attractive and comfortable. However after about 8 months of wearing, the tread was worn off the soles and a huge crack developed in the forward part of the sole! He works in an office, so it's not like he's walking a lot of miles in them. Very disappointing--not what I would normally expect from Clarks. He took them to a shoe repair shop to see if he could get them re-soled, but no dice. The uppers still look like new and we have to throw them away! It would be cruel to donate them to Goodwill and have someone get a shoe that leaks through the bottom. Such a shame, because he really liked the look of these shoes.

Good a first, but the soles cracked in a few months Mar 27, 2011

I had bought a pair of the Clarks Nebulae shoes from a local chain store in November. At first they were great - very comfortable and looked good. However, in just over three months the soles of both shoes split straight across width wise. I expected them last a lot longer than that! The shoe laces also essentially shredded within the first 2 months and had to be replaced - not a huge deal. But obviously since the soles cracked the shoes were useless since any rain outside lead to soaked feet and they started becoming very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend these shoes to anyone - they were a complete waste of money.

I work IT in a hospital, so I do moderate amounts of walking. The soles cracked all the way through and across on both shoes within 3 months. As a huge Clarks fan I am seriously disappointed. Find another model.
