 Everyone should have a pair of Clarks and the Vendor rocks Jul 02, 2010
I could not find Clarks in any stores near my home so I went online. I should have bought two pair of different colors since I tend to wear them EVERY day during summer. Clarks are the best sandals ever. They arrived quickly and not overly packaged but yet safe. The whole thing was a good experience.

I have been wearing Clarks Sunbeat sandals as my primary shoe since I first found them at 16 years old. I'm now 33! and I've been through a few pairs. The early ones I bought long ago were 'Made In England' and the quality and feel were terrific. The first pair lasted me many years of daily wear. Three years ago I bought a pair and I noticed they stated 'Made In Italy', this was a bit of a surprise and I did notice the sizing seemed different. Overall I was still happy with the shoe. But so sad at the latest pair bought this year - Not only do they state 'Made In China', but the entire sole of the shoe is shaped different and of much lesser quality materials. Clarks still charges the same price, but they are sacrificing true craftsmanship. This is the new way everything is being made, so I shouldn't be surprised. I still have all makes of these sandals and you can visibly see the difference. I would rather pay more - maybe even double the price to have a pair like the first ones I bought many years ago with better materials and comfort.

I have 2 other pairs of Clark's sandals purchased several years ago. The leather in this new pair is of lesser quality than my old ones. It is stiff and unyielding and therefore not particularly comfortable. The old ones have soft pliable leather. I will not buy another pair

Most comfortable sandal I have ever owned. Adjusts everywhere to fit the width just right. Does not rub the painful corns like some of my other sandals. Did have to work the leather a few minutes to soften it, but that's true of every leather shoe. I have several Clark's shoes and the soles have never worn out. Looking forward to having these many years.

These were my all time favorite "pregnancy shoes". They are comfortable and adjustable, and the only shoes that I was still able to wear when I was nine months pregnant. I recommend these shoes to anyone who may have swelling problems with their feet, or anyone who just likes comfortable shoes!
