I wear dress shoes often, 3-5 days a week. Although I have tried to buy different shoes for some variety, this is the only shoe I buy because it is so comfortable compared to other dress shoes. I could not recommend any other shoe. I have to recommend this shoe. It is the most comfortable shoe I've worn. I have had over ten pairs of these shoes. Since I wear a size 14, they are hard to find in a retail store. I was very glad to find them on Amazon.

Florsheim has always produced quality shoes although the shoes are not produced in the United States. The penny loafer is the most appealing shoe style. Buy a wider size than you would normally take. If your normal size is 9B, buy a 9D because sizing seems to be narrow.

 Avoid these. Leather surface peels off! May 06, 2010

I literally wore these shoes for 4 hours and the leather surface is flaking off. Anywhere the shoe bends or moves the shoe is cracking and peeling. It looks as if the shoe was given a bad paint job and it's all coming off. I'm not the first reviewer to have this problem, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

There's really not much more to be said about Florsheim's Penny Loafers than that this is the classic line, sure to satisfy anyone with discriminating taste. The fit is excellent. The finish is superior. The price was amazing and delivery was prompt. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

I was a bit skeptical at first about ordering shoes on line. All that went away when the shoes arrived even sooner than anticipated and were everything the ad said they were. High quality, reasonable price and timely delivery. No need to hit the malls trying to find a store that carried the style and size I was looking for. I would not hesitate to shop Amazon again.
