Nice zapato for nights out Nov 11, 2008

Very nice shoe that runs correct in size. Well made with rivets that do not run through to the interior of the shoe. I do recommend.

Pimpin', with a Western flair Oct 01, 2008
By G. Barnett What I like about these shoes: I have small feet (8.5) and generally find 95%+ of slip-ons to be too loose and slip too much in the heel. With hard-to-fit feet, I took a big gamble buying them online. These fit quite well and are among the best fitting slip-ons I've had. They definitely have a Western flair; coworkers have asked whether I'm wearing cowboy boots, only to have me pull my pant legs up and reveal the low-top. On a comfort level compared to other dress shoes, I'd probably rate them a 6 or 7 out of 10, i.e., a little above average but I want to kick them off by the end of the workday; hence, my rating is only 4 stars, not 5.
Update - Dec 12, 2008: I just ordered 2 more pairs of this shoe since the price dropped to $27.99. Now I'm set for another couple years!
Update - Feb 23, 2009: I recently started wearing these shoes a lot more frequently, about 4 days/wk, and my knees started hurting badly. Stopped wearing the shoes for the better part of a week, my knees felt much better. Conclusion: wearing them 2x/wk, and not 2 days in a row, they're OK, but now I regret buying so many pairs despite absolutely LOVING the style. Would downgrade my rating to 3 stars if I could at this time.
Update - Jun 30, 2009: Despite only wearing them 2-3x/wk lately, with no more knee pain, my left heel hurts badly on only the 2nd day in a row wearing them. I'm trying some Dr. Scholl's gel inserts. 9 mos old, the shoes still look great, but they're not holding up well. If the Dr. Scholl's don't help, I'll have to toss this pair and pull out another...

Guess is a well known brand. The shoes are predominantly black and they work well with jeans. I would recommend if you are able to lock down the great deal that I was able to obtain.
A nice shoe but runs narrow Dec 24, 2008

I just got these today, I have to say they are a VERY nice shoe however you should beware that they run particularly narrow. I don't have a particulary wide foot....I very rarely have trouble with shoes....but these things REALLY hug my foot to the point of discomfort. I'm torn on possibly returning them...I think if I broke them in alittle the problem would largely go away, but breaking them in would be difficult.
So if you have even a remotely wide foot, go find another shoe. If you have a thin foot, VERY nice shoe.
