These shoes are relatively comfortable given the fact that they are 4" heels. The wedge makes it possible to wear these to a wedding reception and dance 1/2 the night also. I am a homemaker and never wear high heels and I was just fine. I would say do NOT wear hose with them and do NOT buy the gel inserts. I tried the gel inserts and my toes were killing me only after about 30 minutes. Once I took them out I was fine. They must add just enough thickness to your foot that makes your toes be scrunched.

I have these in pink and like them a lot. The height of the shoe is great but at the same time comfortable. I have worn these many many times over the past year that I've owned them.
Fit:
-I usually wear a size 8.5M in heels over 3". I have these in 8.5M and they fit a little tight. I have the hole on the last one on the ankle strap and my toes are a little scrunched. A half size up might be suggested.
-The peep hole is very sexy, but at the same time, it cuts a little into my middle toe (but may be due to the half size issue mentioned above.)
Quality:
-The heels is sturdy. Still, one year after wearing them probably 100 times, they are not falling apart. There is slight wear on the bottom of the heel and I've had to replace the heel tips only once (and recently too!)
Style:
-I love these becasue they remind me of Marilyn Monroe. :) Old fashioned sexy.
A little uncomfortable, but otherwise very pretty and stylish.
