 comfortable, but a bit warm Apr 13, 2010
As one of the bigger people around I find it difficult to find comfortable shoes. I wear a size 15 and think that most shoe makers make their size 15 shoes by taking a much smaller size and just stretching the space between the ball and the heel, which leads to a very unbalanced shoe with poor support. For sneakers New Balance makes several comfortable options, but for shoes these are the first I have found with full support and a comfortable feel even after wearing them for 15 hours. The only downside, and its not all that bad is they tend to get a little warm as they are leather and do not breath as well as most other materials, but this is common of most leather shoes.

clearly in the minority for this item - but, I ordered them in Nov '08 and was dissapointed. Fit was fine, but the leather was harder than I like, cheaper looking and feeling and overall, the shoes didn't have a nice appearance.
I actually gave them away to my father-in-law. Would not recommend them - much better shoes out there to be had at the money from Timberland, Clark, Edmund-Allen, etc.....

I purchased this product for my husbands birthday. We were both pleased with the shoes and the price not to mention the free shipping! I will be back to purchase his next pair.
My husband has a high arch, and many shoes are difficult for him to get his foot into. These have a large opening and were marked size 12 EW. The web site page said: size 12 WW. His feet are wide and these fit very well.

I've had these shoes in Dark Brown for about 3 years now. I absolutely love them. They are ultra light and very comfortable. Now that they are worn out, I just purchased another pair and am equally happy with them. I am highly considering a pair of the black ones!
I've tried on over 50 pairs of causal brown shoes and have yet to find anything nearly as comfortable! On a side note, the price is great too!
Reduce pain Feb 06, 2009
My boyfriend is on his feet all day caring for hospital patients. He prefers these over all his athletic shoes because they reduce the pain in his legs and back that resulted from standing and walking on concrete for 12 hours. They are more convenient and stylish than athletic shoes, too.
