4Sizes are actual...  Jan 09, 2011
By Kris
Other reviews stated to increase a size because the sizes run small. This is not true. My husband wears an 8 or 8.5 depending on the shoe/boot, so I bought a 9. The 9 was way too big, and I threw out the invoice accidently so I could not send them back for a smaller size. Otherwise, my husband does like the look and feel of the Lugz boot. I had to special order him a thick insole to ensure a more substantial fit. He is pleased, but recommends to order the boot in the wearers actual size, especially if the wearer has a wide foot! Hope this is helpful with your purchase!:)

3Excellent...  Mar 24, 2008
By Steven Ford "Invent The Future!"
This is a very well constructed and comforatable shoe.

I love the look and style.

However, the front end tends to scuff and mark very easily.

Although an excellent offering, I recommend using the Drifter in clean and safe environments only.

1Did Not Last! Sole Split in Half!  Nov 08, 2011
By Scott Meyer
I am glad I waited to write this review. The shoes look great and are very comfortable. Only had them a couple of months and I loved them so much that I was just about to order myself a second pair. Glad I did not! The sole split in half on the bottom, right at the ball of my foot, between the treads. I can't wear them. I can't return them because I do not have the original packaging! I wasted my money! Don't buy if you are looking for a quality shoe that will last!

4Comfortable and surprisingly tough  May 17, 2012
By Mike T
I bought a pair of the low-top work boots when I was a shop teacher to wear to work and I found them to be very comfortable even when I was standing on hard surfaces most of the day. I got out of teaching, amd worked in construction and landscaping the next two years and surprisingly these boots held up through most of that period and I typically beat the hell out of my boots. I bought a cheap pair at Target to replace the Lugz, and they only lasted me three months. Buying another pair of Lugz this time around!
