 HottHottHott Shoes! Almost Perfect! Apr 20, 2010
I should start by saying that I have several pairs of Naughty Monkey shoes, and they all seem to fit true to size. With that being said, these shoes DO fit true to size, but they are a bit tight in the toe (I think the heel height has a lot to do with this, because my feet really scooted forward in these shoes). I decided to give these shoes a trial by fire, and wore them for the first time to an all-day event. I was very surprised at how comfortable they were considering the amount of time they were on my feet (7 hours, including an hour straight of walking and standing), and my not inconsiderable weight. I did take them off twice for about 30 minutes because my toes were feeling a bit cramped.
I found them very easy to walk in, and felt that the way the heel was attached actually added a good bit of support. People could NOT stop commenting on these shoes (I bought them in Teal), men and women! They were a hit, and I think once they've been fully broken in, they'll be just as comfortable as my other Naughty Monkey shoes, which also required some breaking in. I do recommend foot petals or something like that for these particular shoes, as they will stop your foot from sliding forward so much and squishing the toes to death.

Love these shoes! Have worn them to a wedding and to work. Comfortable and fit true. Look great with a dress or jeans. Very happy with my purchase!

This shoe is awesome. I get tons of compliments on them. I ordered a size up than my normal size after reading all the reviews on them. They are narrow through the toes so if you are wide footed this shoe is not for you. I have 7 pairs of Naughty Monkey shoes and will continue to add to my collection. You definately cannot go wrong with NM's.

I'm sooo frustrated that these shoes didn't fit. I ordered a 7.5 after reading the reviews on it fitting smaller. I couldn't even start to put my foot in. So I waited until my sister's birthday rather than returning then, which was going to be too much hassle. She wears a 1/2 to a full size smaller than me and SHE couldn't wear them. We're thinking the 7.5 I ordered was sized more like a 5.5 or small 6. The sellers should provide a warning if they aren't true to size. I think I paid $46 for them and they haven't provided any usefulness to anyone...yet. They are so cute, I might have to find someone (else) to give them to.

These shoes are DEFINITELY hot! I get TONS of compliments when wearing them. However, since they are a wedge, the sole is not very flexible, and they can slip off my heel at times when I walk. I'll have to try a heel-gripper pad and see if that helps. Shoes feel true to size and are surprisingly comfy for something so high. The first time I wore them, I had them on for over 5 hours, with just a few red marks on my feet - not back for a shoe that wasn't "broken in" at all!
