 Tight toes Feb 18, 2009

I ordered the black and white pair and althought they are beautiful, I purchased a 1/2 size bigger after reading the previous comments and they are still tight in the toes , the heel part is fine. I have to return them, I can not exchange them because the seller went up $16 on shoe after I purchased them for $28, and four days later they are $44. Very dissappointed. Good Luck!!

These shoes are gorgeous, and well worth the price. Definite head turners. I got the "teal" ones. That being said, I don't know that I would call the color teal. It's more blue. Anyway, I always wear a size 8, so that is what I got, they are a little loose in the heel, and very tight in the toes, my other naughty monkey shoes size 8 fit perfectly, so I was a little dissappointed with the fit, which is why I gave these a 4 star instead of 5. Keep in mind that they are a little harder to walk in due to the way the heel attaches to the shoe all along the bottom of the foot, they don't have much give, so it's hard to bend your foot when balancing. (I am an expert heel wearer, so that's saying a lot! Clearly, I've given this some thought. Grin!) All that being said, these are GORGEOUS shoes. I love them, and will wear them gleefully.

I was so excited to get these shoes. When I did I quickly slipped my sock off and these on only to find my foot stuck. I had some difficulty getting them on. One went easily and one a little work. They are very tight in the toes and loose in the heal. Also a little wide throughout the foot. But I kept them on for awhile and I liked them on so much I decided they weren't too bad. I own many pairs of Naughty Monkey's and all in 8.5's and these are the only ones tight in the toes like that. I bought the brown cheetah print. I think I will think twice before purchasing peep-toes though.

I should start by saying that I have several pairs of Naughty Monkey shoes, and they all seem to fit true to size. With that being said, these shoes DO fit true to size, but they are a bit tight in the toe (I think the heel height has a lot to do with this, because my feet really scooted forward in these shoes). I decided to give these shoes a trial by fire, and wore them for the first time to an all-day event. I was very surprised at how comfortable they were considering the amount of time they were on my feet (7 hours, including an hour straight of walking and standing), and my not inconsiderable weight. I did take them off twice for about 30 minutes because my toes were feeling a bit cramped.
I found them very easy to walk in, and felt that the way the heel was attached actually added a good bit of support. People could NOT stop commenting on these shoes (I bought them in Teal), men and women! They were a hit, and I think once they've been fully broken in, they'll be just as comfortable as my other Naughty Monkey shoes, which also required some breaking in. I do recommend foot petals or something like that for these particular shoes, as they will stop your foot from sliding forward so much and squishing the toes to death.

Love these shoes! Have worn them to a wedding and to work. Comfortable and fit true. Look great with a dress or jeans. Very happy with my purchase!
