I purchased one-half size larger, and was thankful. Every company seems to vary a little. These boots are comfortable right out of the box for me--no "breaking in." I stepped in a puddle in the grass and they are truly water proof! Nice soft leather, hard sole. The only thing I would change is more arch support. All in all, though, a very nice low heel weather-proofed boot with a little character. imagedesign62

I have a lot of shoes and a lot of boots, but none as comfortable right out of the box as these! Fit perfectly, heel height is great. Don't know if I would have payed the original price, but am glad I have them!!! You do have to be a little careful with the leather, however. I wrapped my foot around my chair and roughed up an area on the cuff. Still look okay, though.

I ordered these when they were on sale.I don't think I would have paid $95 for them.
I got them as a gift for my friend's B'day but she mentioned she did not wear boots
much so I kept them for myself.I am so glad I did.I am glad I got an 8.I usually wear
a 7 but these fit good and I have wiggle room for my toes and can wear thicker socks
in the winter months.They don't slide.I went out dancing the first night I wore them
and my feet did not hurt at all.I don't believe in "breaking footwear in",if it is not
comfortable right out of the box then it never will be for me.So these boots were a
great find and a great price,I think I paid 35-40 dollars for them.What a steal!

I purchased my normal size and the boots were a very comfortable fit and looked great with jeans from the beginning. But they were nearly impossible to get on for the first 10-12 times. I had to wear hose to slide them on to my feet! After that, the ultra-soft leather loosened up and they're now easy to put on and are my favorite boots.
