Comfortable right of the box... Aug 29, 2009 I ordered these when they were on sale.I don't think I would have paid $95 for them.
I got them as a gift for my friend's B'day but she mentioned she did not wear boots
much so I kept them for myself.I am so glad I did.I am glad I got an 8.I usually wear
a 7 but these fit good and I have wiggle room for my toes and can wear thicker socks
in the winter months. They don't slide.I went out dancing the first night I wore them
and my feet did not hurt at all.I don't believe in "breaking footwear in",if it is not
comfortable right out of the box then it never will be for me.So these boots were a
great find and a great price,I think I paid 35-40 dollars for them. What a steal!
Now I Love Them May 26, 2009 I purchased my normal size and the boots were a very comfortable fit and looked great with jeans from the beginning. But they were nearly impossible to get on for the first 10-12 times. I had to wear hose to slide them on to my feet! After that, the ultra-soft leather loosened up and they're now easy to put on and are my favorite boots.
cutest boots I've had in a LONG time... Mar 03, 2009 When I first saw these boots, I was totally happy I found such an unusual low heel pair of boots... as the low heel and very soft leather, and rustic looking, is what I wanted. I ordered half size bigger 8.5 and enough room for socks... but they are lined inside and just really cool looking boots. While visiting a friend at the hospital, the comment from a patient was "hey lady, I like your boots"! Needless to say, I do to. I hope they last forever... I'll make sure they do...
too cute! Dec 16, 2008 Saw these boots and had to order them. They are comfortable and a little "funky", which is what I love in shoes! The only reason I didn't rate them higher is that with the double layer of leather, they do get a little warm to wear all day.
3 stars for price & style, minus 2 for leather and fit Dec 13, 2008 Update: I discovered that wearing these boots stains your the bottom of knee highs or socks with a pink tint. Either wear red or black colors with them or be warned. I washed my tan knee highs and the tint did not wash out completely. These boots are not made of any leather that I've experienced in shoes. It is stiff and hard yet thin with a semi-shiny sheen. They look thinner in the leg to ankle portion (in the pix) than they really are. You will get a chunky look with them. Also, the "chaps" portions comes down over the foot portion more (for a size 7.5) so only 1/2 of your foot is showing. The Pix may show a size 10 boot so the foot part sticks out more. I liked them in the pix better than in person. I tried them on and no complaints since they fit true to size with ample room for my wider calves but overall is a low end-seeming boot. Different though.
