awesome Oct 29, 2010
By workoutgirl I have the Komen heart rate monitor and absolutely love it. So easy to wear, works every time, gives quick heart rate readings, and counts calories. Now I know my heart rate and how many calories I'm burning during my exercise videos! I even get compliments on it from people who think it's just a sporty watch;)

Great HRM! Jan 25, 2011

I've had this for quite a while now and I love it! I have found it to be accurate as long as you use it properly. It takes about 5 seconds to register a heart rate and you don't have to stop moving while you do it. I rely on it for my workouts. I have lost 40.8 pounds so far on my weightloss journey and this little watch has been a huge part of that success. Totally worth the money. If you take the time to read the instructions and use it properly, you will love it, too!

Perfect for What I Was Looking For Jul 28, 2011
By Dress19 I bought this watch mainly to track my heart rate because I have an irregular heartbeat. I wanted to be sure I wasn't overdoing it in my workouts. I also like the calorie counter feature. The watch seems to have a lot of features, including a step counter, but I can't seem to figure out how to use that feature. It's a great watch for heartbeat, timer, calorie counter, and telling time. But some features are not easy to use. It's perfect for what I was wanting one for and the price is good.

Doesn't always work; strap breaks with normal wear and tear Feb 22, 2012
By Marjorie Chardin For the first few weeks, this watch worked great. Then for whatever reason, the heart rate function only worked 30% of the time (it seems to not be at all sweat friendly). It still somewhat served the purpose until, after 8-months of use, the strap broke off. I suppose I could try to find replacement straps, but considering the heart rate function was inconsistent, it's not really worth it. I now wish I'd just forked over the extra money and purchased a higher quality watch from the beginning. Recommend other shoppers do the same -- you can pay now (and avoid the hassle), or pay later (with money, time and frustration).

Not a good cardio monitor Feb 10, 2012
By AngrySquirrel First, this watch is not accurate. You cannot set your height and weight for an accurate reading. This is not in the description, it is just something we figured out after trying to program the watch. Now to the real problem. He have owned this watch for 4 months and my wife used this watch 3-5 times a week for 1-2 hours per day. It was stored on her dresser and it was never dropped or misused. 2 weeks ago it just stopped counting calories. She ran a 5K and it said she only burned 40 calories. All in all its a good watch for the price, just know it may die on you soon. I would recommend going a little more expensive and getting the programmable one. We have multiple friends who have bought those and they work great.
