Wonderfully comfortable sneakers from New Balance.
The Pros of these shoes as I see them (in no particular order):
- Cushion-y and supportive, yet very flexible and do not feel rigid
- Weigh next to nothing - ideal for travel to pack in the suitcase
- Do not scream athletic shoe
- A bit boxier styling in the front looks cool and also provides more wiggle room for the toes
- Low profile, appropriate for a casual sporty shoe
- Nice "grippy" outer soles
- Low cut around the back where the Achilles tendon is - they do not irritate my tendon there.
A word of caution, too:
These do run a bit small length-wise so if you are in-between sizes it is probably better to size up. I sometimes wear a 10, sometimes an 11 and while this shoe fits me in 11, I will have to wear it without socks or at least only very thin ones.
Love these shoes and hope that New Balance will keep offering this model for a long time to come.

I wear these for walking and working in the yard. They are durable and comfortable. Good shoe for the money.

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for a long time, and I have to say these are a little disappointing. The style of this shoe is nice. It is pretty comfortable to walk it. However, the bottoms are very slick. I about slipped and fell a couple of times. Also the tongue of the shoe comes up really far and it presses into the bend of my foot when I walk. It is really uncomfortable. They also run in small sizes. I usually wear an 8 but I got an 8 1/2 thankfully. They fit well. But if you have wide feet I would not get these. They are very narrow.
