Works Well For Me ! Jul 09, 2010
By Arcana I love this shoe. Feels like I'm walking on air. When I first put them on, I actually felt a bit wobbly, so the "rock and tone" aspect of the shoe is not a gimmick there really is a physical adjustment that occurs when you walk with them on. In addition, I feel like my legs are getting more of a workout when I walk. The shoe sizes run a bit large, but if you select the right size, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the performance.

Like walking on marshmallows Sep 04, 2010
By Barbara S. I love these shoes. I've been trying to find shoes that will allow me to exercise walk comfortably, and so far these shoes fit the bill. I have shin splints and many shoes I've tried make walking excruciating or even worse, make my feet and legs feel like they've fallen asleep. The first "speciality" shoes I bought were the sketchers shape-ups. I can't express how painful those shoes were! So, after 2 other attempts at buying walking shoes that ended up making walking miserable, I really didn't want to invest more money in shoes that might not work. But after walking around the store for a bit, I took a leap of faith and bought these. They are like walking on marshmallows, very comfortable and soft and don't make my feet, shins, or legs hurt during walking. I would recommend these to anyone with any foot/ leg issues, or anyone looking for a comfortable pair of shoes. Plus, they don't look hideously ugly like the shape-ups!

The best walking shoes ever! Jul 23, 2010
By Kathy D. I recently purchased the New Balance Rock & Tone shoes. I have had knee problems for years. Long walks with my dog have been out of the question. 2 days after starting to wear these shoes, I noticed that there is no pain when I walk or stand for long periods of time. I love these shoes and do not plan on wearing any others.

Rock & Tone Jun 22, 2010

I bought the blue/white shoe. Loved the shoe the first day I wore it, I walked between 4-5 miles the next 3 days. By the third day the right shoe was really bothering me at my arch. I am curious to hear if anyone else has this problem or if my shoe is defective.

excellent Mar 17, 2011
By ncktdy I walk a lot and have found this product to be most comfortable, the rock and tone using different muscles from the Asics I used to wear. The upper leather is soft and pliable, they were comfortable as soon as I put them on. I thoroughly recommend this shoe as an excellent walking shoe.
