too painful!! save your feet Sep 15, 2010
By emji14 I really tried to like this shoe!! I tried breaking them in, I tried socks (really thick ones are ok, but look ridiculous and make them too tight), I got dr. scholl's relief cushions for that area, I've tried tape, bandaids, lots of lotion, pretty much everything to fix the design flaw (the back lip and the stitching on it-- it feels rough just rubbing your finger over it). I patiently gave them lots of my time. Instead, I have permanent scars on my poor feet, and huge bloody blisters every time I wear them for over 5 minutes. They are currently the only pair of shoes I own that give me blisters.
I've had them about a year now, and have only been able to wear them a handful of times. There's not much arch support but I got them anyway because they felt great in the store, they looked nice, I trusted Clarks, and I needed some good multipurpose comfortable shoes to walk around everywhere. I am very disappointed with Clarks for letting this shoe even on the market. For the brand, and the price, they should not be so terrible that I can't even wear them!
sad feet!

I wanted to like it more... Dec 01, 2009
By Trish I really wanted to like this shoe more! I have owned other Privo's and have especially loved my Trumpet shoes by Privo. They fit a bit snuggly (size 10) and ride high on the back of one of my heels. It blistered my heel the first few times that I tried wearing them. I wore them around the house with socks on, and that seemed to stretch it a bit and now they are easier to wear. They are very light, not for wearing in the Northeast in Fall and Winter! They do provide many of the qualities that I wanted, but can't rate it any higher than just "good".

OUCH! Painful blisters Oct 15, 2009
By Luke'smom I waited months to buy these shoes. Love Privo shoes but hate the prices. :) I finally bought them on amazon after I saw the incredible price. They are adorable shoes, very comfortable when you first put them on, and the fit is great (as usual). The problem is as soon as you start walking the back stretchy part on your heel rubs something awful and I ended up with two huge bleeding blisters. It was so painful I finally stopped at a store and bought another pair of shoes since I was out of town and was doing a lot of walking. So what do I do now? I have a cute pair of shoes I love but absolutely can't wear. I tried putting them on the other day thinking maybe they just had to be worn in and within minutes I was in pain. Very disappointed!
Love these! Nov 02, 2010
By Meredith Mansfield I love these shoes so much that I wore them endlessly. When they finally wore out, I went back and bought another identical pair. I've never done that before. They are super comfortable and go with everything. I get compliments on them all the time. I just wish they came in more colors.
Comfortable, attractive May 04, 2010
By Busy Mom These shoes took some wearing in. At first, they felt about a half to a full size too small. They did hurt at first--in the back of the heel where the "hammock" dug in, and in the front of the foot where it felt overall too small. However, a couple weeks of regular wear and they are very comfortable and practical. They go with both casual and work-casual and are fine to wear even if you have a lot of walking to do. I'm happy I bought them and stuck with the wearing in period.
