Bought one, lasted a week. Had it replaced, lasted 2 weeks. Jul 23, 2009
By K. Wilbanks This product is a black hole. I wish I would have taken the recommendation to get something else. I thought the first time this product broke down within a week that it was just a fluke, so I had it replaced with another. It costs waaaay too much and takes up too much space to waste this much time and energy on. My recommendation-look at reviews and buy a machine that works.

piece of junk Dec 08, 2009
By T. mai Don't buy this item, i bought one and it didn't last but for maybe 3 or 4 use. The resistance mechanism broke thereby causing the brakes to jam in the fly wheel which cause the bike to be stuck. This is all because the resistance mechanism is made up of plastic parts. Stay away from proform machines...they are cheaply made.

Wobbly, not worth the effort Dec 03, 2011
By Ginger I recently bought this model of elliptical at an auction. It was brand new, still sealed in the box so it should have been a great deal. I've honestly not heard good things about the Proform brand, but for the tiny price I paid for a new machine, I felt like it was worth a shot. I liked the idea of an elliptical that would not take up much space. However, it was wobbly and jerky and the lack of smoothness was a distraction. I found myself stopping frequently just to check out the machine. When compared to a traditional size elliptical at the gym, I realized that a spacesaver is not always the best option. I'll hold out for a full size machine (and another brand) and will gladly pay a higher price if that means I'll get something I can actually benefit from.
