 Puma King Soccer shoes feel great BUT... Oct 16, 2009

My son loves the fit and feel of these Puma soccer shoes, BUT he's had two pairs and both pair separated along the base of the shoe between the leather and the "platform" after minimal wear. We thought the first pair were just defective, but the 2nd pair did the exact same thing. He wore them for outside, grass soccer play and they just did not hold up well at all for that playing surface. They were light weight, extremely comfortable, and his favorite shoe prior to splitting though.

Be carefull with these new style Kings. I had been wearing Puma Kings for over a decade, having bought at least 10 pairs of various styles. I always wore a size US9.5. A size 9.5 in these was too small, and by the time I realized it, it was too late to return them. So I started soaking them in water before wearing them to try to get them to stretch out some. After three games I could finally wear them without pain but the soles came unglued, and the shoes went in the trash can. Never had any issues with the old style.

Very comfortable, right out of the box. My daughter has tried many other soccer shoes and now that she has worn the Puma King Execs she doesn't wear any other shoes. She is currently playing soccer in her third pair of Puma King Execs.
