5great tune for my ears  Jul 22, 2010
I just got these shoes a week ago and they are by far the best I have ever run on. The support for the foot is incredible, the cushioning is also excellent, and they are also very lightweight. The heel/toe transtiion for me seems a little awkward, but that is probably because I am used to running on cheaper asics shoes. I am still recovering from a stress fracture and these shoes make my ankle feel completely normal after 15 minutes or so.

4Great shoe...  May 29, 2010
Years ago, my mom got me a new pair of running shoe based on a Consumer Reports article that said the least expensive shoe they tested turned out to be the one that scored the higest. The shoes were Saucony Jazz running shoes, and they were the best shoes I had run in up until that time. Since then I've had Nikes and New Balance, but the Jazz were still the best I had ever worn. I got these after daily runs over gravel roads on a FOB in Iraq had completely destroyed the Nikes I had been wearing in a relatively short time, and I was curious to see how the Jazz had stood the test of time. They're still better than anything else on the market that I've tried. The knee and back pains I'd been having after running are gone now, and the fit is much better as Nikes tend to run very narrow and I have a wide foot. After a month of heavy running they are holding up far better than the Nikes and I would highly recommend them to any daily non-competitive runner. A great shoe that has withstood the test of time.

5Super Light, Fits Great!  May 28, 2010
These are excellent running shoes. I really like them, and they are some of the lightest shoes I have ever had. They do not have a ton of support though, just so you know. Your feet are very flexible in the shoes. I use them for every day stuff and sometimes for short runs.

5comfy and cushioned  Apr 17, 2010
This is the first Saucony shoe that I have worn. Was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable fit and the cushioned performance. An excellant value!

5Won't Look Anywhere Else  Apr 05, 2010
I have worn New Balance for the last 10 years. Two months ago when it came time to get a new pair of shoes, I tried on several pairs of New Balance shoes and wasn't satisfied with the comfort I've always found in them before. After examining the reviews, it always seemed to come back to Saucony, so I ordered a pair for myself. Wow--I can't get over how comfortable they are. Two months later and I'm still impressed and still talking about them. I don't think I'll ever look elsewhere. Here's what I like:

1. Extremely comfortable, no pressure sores ever, great support.
2. Very lightweight. I almost feel like I'm not wearing shoes.
3. Breatheable.
4. Great tread for the outdoors--grips everything.
5. No joint problems. They absorb impact very effectively.
6. The price was right.
7. Easy on the eyes :-)

I feel like I got more than I bargained for for a great price. Thanks!
