SAUCONY® MEN'S PROGRID JAZZ 12 :: There are some very good reasons that Runners World named the ProGrid Jazz 12 to it's "Best Buy" list. It's the perfect shoe for lightweight runners with higher archers who want a "light on your feet trainer" at a best-value price. 11.2 ounces

5Awesome Running Shoes  Jul 27, 2009
By Alex Moorman
Extremely lightweight and comfortable. Bought them after seeing the Runners World magazine rated these as the best overall cross trainers. I love these shoes. I bought them because I was getting shin splints from running with my New Balance shoes. For the price, you can't do any better. I've lost 40 lbs since I bought these shoes. The shoes didn't do it, but they helped me avoid injuries that would have kept me out of the gym. If I'm running over 4 miles, I don't do it without these shoes on.

5awesome running shoe!!  Aug 02, 2010
By matthew
there is not much to add that hasn't already been said by the other reviewers except that I also run over 4 miles every other day and these shoes hold up very well for the abuse I give them (I weigh 220lbs). I must add that I went from the Saucony TR-6 to the Jazz and even though the TR-6 was the more expensive of the two I like the jazz much better. In fact when I switched the comfort liner from the TR-6 to Jazz there was hardly a difference between the two. I wish Saucony would just put the comfort liner in the Jazz to begin with but then again I would not like it if the price went up as a result!

4Comfort > Style  Sep 23, 2010
By Lisa
These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. That being said, I'd prefer that they looked a bit more stylist. I don't like the colors, nor the design. I got a recommendation from a friend to buy these shoes, because I started jogging/running recently. They're a huge help. I haven't been getting ANY blisters since I started wearing them. My old shoes were HORRIBLE on my feet. I'm very satisfied with my order for the price I paid. :)

5great tune for my ears  Jul 22, 2010

I just got these shoes a week ago and they are by far the best I have ever run on. The support for the foot is incredible, the cushioning is also excellent, and they are also very lightweight. The heel/toe transtiion for me seems a little awkward, but that is probably because I am used to running on cheaper asics shoes. I am still recovering from a stress fracture and these shoes make my ankle feel completely normal after 15 minutes or so.

4Great shoe...  May 29, 2010
By Jose Schmuckatello "Joe"
Years ago, my mom got me a new pair of running shoe based on a Consumer Reports article that said the least expensive shoe they tested turned out to be the one that scored the higest. The shoes were Saucony Jazz running shoes, and they were the best shoes I had run in up until that time. Since then I've had Nikes and New Balance, but the Jazz were still the best I had ever worn. I got these after daily runs over gravel roads on a FOB in Iraq had completely destroyed the Nikes I had been wearing in a relatively short time, and I was curious to see how the Jazz had stood the test of time. They're still better than anything else on the market that I've tried. The knee and back pains I'd been having after running are gone now, and the fit is much better as Nikes tend to run very narrow and I have a wide foot. After a month of heavy running they are holding up far better than the Nikes and I would highly recommend them to any daily non-competitive runner. A great shoe that has withstood the test of time.
