2Disappointing  Apr 05, 2009
By H. Ritchey
I purchased a pair of these to use for cross training (plyometrics, strength training) and will be returning them promptly. I wore these around the house for an hour, and they are not comfortable with an average to slightly wide foot (mine measures at just under a C width, so hovers between wide and normal).
These shoes seemed to want to make the ball of my foot roll outward and off the edge of the shoe. The heel fit great, but my arch is now aching because of the torsion on the forefoot. This felt like a design flaw rather than some weird anatomy in my foot (I've never felt like this in a pair of athletic shoes.)
I've run in Saucony's before and been very pleased. This pair does not seem to be up to the usual standard. Save your money and invest in a quality pair. When a shoe is listed as being for a budget conscious runner, this is the company giving themselves a license to skimp on quality in the pursuit of being cheap.

2My feet went numb!  Jun 22, 2009
By Jessica M. Deline "jdkc"
These shoes have a lot of cushion and are very comfortable initially, but after a mile into my run, my feet went numb. I was very disappointed.

1worst saucony shoe i ever purchased  Apr 18, 2012
By Melanie, Steve Perry
This was the 10th pair of Saucony sneakers i have purchased. I got these at a "box" store, tried them on and they fit great..
2 hours into walking around at work i had the worst foot pain of my life. Wore them one more time and got the same pains.

5Lots of experience, best shoes I've ever owned!  Sep 30, 2010

BEST RUNNING SHOES THERE ARE
I ran long distance in high school and went through several different brands of running shoes but never quite found the right ones. For a time, I wore Brookes' but after 2 seasons or so it seemed they changed the design and I no longer liked them.
After that, I tried a pair of Sauconys and absolutely LOVED them! I have a chronic pain condition so not only do my muscles ache a lot, my joints get very stiff and sore. Sauconys provide great cushion and support without being stiff. Yes, until they are broken in I have noticed my feet go a bit numb sometimes but then I just loosen them up a bit.
After my first pair, I couldn't find a pair in the city I was living in but was in Desperate need so I settled for a pair of Asics because I have heard lots of good things about them.....
NEVER AGAIN!
They were Awful! Not supportive at all and not even that comfortable. I wore them for a full year for the sake of being frugal but I hated them the whole time! I just recently bought my new pair of Saucony Ignitions and am so happy! I agree they fit slightly differently than my old pair and I'm sure it has to do with design but I definitely love them and highly recommend them! I have to say though, I only wear them for running. They are not cross trainers and are not designed for the lateral motion or various different workouts
All in all, they rock!
