soles Sep 23, 2009

I bought these thinking they would have lasted as long as the sketchers non slip sneaker shoes, but they weren't. I was out mowing in wet grass, and both soles came unglued. I went back, and purchased the non slip sneaker, and I'm 100% happier. If you had trouble with this particular shoe and like the non slip sole you might try the Sketcher non slip sneakers.

Superficial Quality Feb 05, 2010
By James Matias The shoe looks nice but isn't particularly comfortable or durable. After about two months with the product the outside began peeling and cracking. No longer a sightly "work" shoe after enduring just two months of North East weather. I noticed Amazon suggested "scuff resistant" as a tag, I would not endorse that claim. Disappointing.
Edit: As others have stated, after six months of use the sole became unglued from the upper. Dropped down to 1 star. As an office shoe, only usable for 2 months, for general purpose it reached the end of its life at 6 months.

Sketcher Work Shoe Jun 27, 2010
By upstateny I purchased these about 3-4 months ago. The shoes looked great but the comfort is not very good. The left one seem to have too much arch support than the right one. The real deal breaker is the uppers have begun to separate. I have bubbles under the top grain leather. Recently when I went to brush of something with my other shoe the top grain peeled back. Needless to say they are no longer a good looking shoe. I DO NOT recommend these product. I was very disappointed all my other Sketchers, causal styles, have held up very well.

cracking, peeling after 2 months May 25, 2010
By T. Cutter When I bought these shoes, I also bought the best spray, leather shoe protectant I could find, and gave them several coats, in fact I used up the whole can because I manage a restaurant, and they do get fairly dirty. After every shift I would wipe them down with a damp cloth, and then a dry cloth. Well, to my dismay, AFTER TWO MONTHS, THEY BEGAN CRACKING AND PEELING ON THE TOP!!! I have to throw them away!! Is this real leather? WHAT A HORRIBLE WAIST OF MONEY! SKECHERS, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!! I ONLY WISH I HAD SAVED MY RECIEPT! DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!!

DONT BUY Jun 15, 2011

leather cracks and tears like it's 'pleather'
very poorly constructed. cracked and split in the back [where you grab it to slip on the shoe] any where it creases it ends up tearing and making a hole.
