I had bought a pair of slip-resistant shoes at Wal-Mart, and by the end of my shift at the fast food place where I work my feet were killing me! I bought a pair of these Skechers (after reading several other reviews) and they are wonderful! No more pain, even after a 12 1/2 hour shift!

I bought these in order to wear them at work. These are the most comfortable work shoes that I have ever owned. I walk across and stand on metal grating and I cannot feel it like I could with other shoes. I love them

I am a wedding photographer. I probably should be wearing heels for 10 hours shooting weddings but let's just be real!! I'm not about to wear heels for 10 hours straight, RUNNING around to get these shots! No way!
So I chose to get these black non-slip work shoes. And do I love them? YES!! They are sturdy, they save my feet from hurting, they are non-slip so when I have to RUUUUUUN to get a shot, they are my faithful companions! They are full black so they hide well under my black pants. They are just a good pair of work shoes that will hold WELL under the needed demand of high energy work!
Heels, NOPE. Can't do it. I'm sticking to THESE so I can do my job well.
Did I mention they were non-slip? ;) Yes I did, which I need to elaborate here. This aspect is crucial for me because I seriously need to go into a sprint sometimes to get a pending wedding shot and I do not have the time to mind the floor I'm running on. These shoes have a good grip on slippery granite (this fountain was granite with water, a structure I had to keep jumping over-- with THOUSANDS of dollars worth of camera equipment on my neck. YES this shoe is faithful!), during the reception, there might be water spilled on the tile or wooden floor-- these shoes will not let me down in the slipping department.
Also I have very overpronated feet where I have to wear motionless sneakers/running shoes. What happens is that after a long day of walking in unfit shoes, my joints and toes will HURT because of my overpronation. Well these black shoes HELP THAT!! I am so lucky since I have overpronated feet, these shoes are so stable that they correct my walk! Oh lucky am I to have found these shoes.

I needed a non-skid shoe and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I looked at a number of websites, but either they didn't have the product I was looking for or it was to expensive. I decided to see if Amazon offer the item, because I have had such good luck with DVD's and I was right. Now, when I need something I go to Amazon first.

I work on my feet 8 hours plus a day doing retail management, lifting, running around the store, going up and down ladders. When I use to buy the cheap work shoes from Payless and Walmart... I would end my day with my back hurting, my legs and feet screaming after me. I went into a Skechers Outlet store and they had a buy one get one half off.. so I thought well, I'll try their shoes and got a pair of their work shoes. OMG what a difference!!! No more back aches, sore legs or feet. When you work like I do, you go through shoes every 5 - 6 months. So, I came on here to find a pair and they were so much less then at the outlet store. They hug your feet and yes...they will feel a little stiff at first, but adjust to "your" feet quickly. The company here was quick to get them out too. I had no trouble with the shipping.
