 Shoe runs small and narrow Dec 21, 2009

My son is eight and has been wearing Sperry shoes for years. This shoe looks very nice however it runs small and narrow. The first pair I bought was a 1 1/2 M and was so narrow my son could not get his foot in the shoe; the second pair I ordered in wide and they are still too small. He has a new pair of topsiders in the same size and they fit great. After sending back two pair I am not sure if I will order again, especially since I have to pay to return them and it is not possible to make an exchange.

My four-year-old's Montessori school requires a gray uniform, white blouse, and black leather shoes. These sweet little penny loafers complete her ensemble perfectly. Plus, they are comfortable and well-made.

That's saying SO MUCH! These shoes are the best. My daughter wears them and they're a half size too big. (VERY TRUE TO SIZE)... she still wears them! They go with everything and she always looks put together. They must be comfortable because she's in the kitchen doing a tap dance in them at this very moment, in front of the reflection off of the stove window. ADORABLE and I will be buying these for her every year from now until she's 49! ;-)

I was so sad when my son outgrew these shoes. They look great with a suit, or khakis, and they stood up to the "boy-wear" test. My son wore them at least three times a week for months, and they looked so good when he was done that I was able to consign them. I hope to buy him another pair.

Cute shoe unfortunately it runs small and narrow. I had to return it. I cannot recommend this shoe. Amazon also charges an additional $5.00 for return.
