I really wanted this pair of shoes. I was at the nail salon one day and saw the owner with them on, I instantly fell in love with them. She got her shoes at Macys a few yrs back and I searched high and low.. No where to be found. I checked my favorite place (amazon) and found them here for about 60bucks!!
For a high heel I find them very comfortable. I live in Cali and have no problem walking with them.. I brought them to boston and walk on Brick and Cobble stone roads.. (not as easy) but the quality of the shoe is great!! I give this shoe 4 stars simply because the platform heel is made of real wood and for some reason it has been very difficult to clean them once they get dirty...Ive tried to wash the heel with a mild soap.. no luck..
I later went on Target.com and found a VERY SIMILAR pair.. in black and light tan for a fraction of the price.. (20 bucks) SO i bought myself the Tan colored.. Great shoe as well.. the Heel is made of hard plastic, still looks like wood.. However, it doesnt get dirty and if they do.. its easy to clean off..

I'm not sure what shoe the other reviewers are wearing, but I do not find these shoes comfortable at all! The wood sole/heel of the shoe make a horrible base to walk on all day, yes there is a cushion, but is doesn't help much for very long. I usually make it about an hour or two tops before I have to take them off and my poor feet are hurting and blistered. The blistering comes around the toes where the cover of the shoe ends, as I walk my toes rub back and forth along the peep top and it must be further up/wider than most peep toes because I've never had blisters like these and I own a few peep toe shoes... Also, the grip on the bottom of the shoe wore off quickly for me, and since then the wood sole slips on many surfaces; I almost bit the floor in a restaurant once in these killers!
Now that I'm done ranting about all the reasons I can't stand wearing these shoes, here's the bottom line: I STILL WEAR THEM! Any woman should understand this. It's a beautiful shoe, it really is. It looks great with jeans, with shorts, with bathing suits and a cover up, almost everything. So I try not to wear them to events I know I'll be standing at for awhile or walking, and I put up with the pain, and I get compliments on them left and right. So is the price of being a woman, right?

I had to buy these in the black and light brown leather. They are so comfy and look great with everything. I can go all day without my feet hurting at all! They fit true to size and they hold up great with many wears. Totally recommend.

I bought this shoe because I need a shoe to just throw on when I'm in a hurry and can't decide what to wear. These shoes are comfortable and very stylish. Goes with just about everything I wear and I've gotten so many compliments.
