5Super Comfy, Well-made, Stylish  Apr 03, 2009
By J. Stone
This is my first pair of Tevas, and I am not disappointed. I have mostly worn cheap no-name sandals in the past, and I notice a huge difference in both the comfort and quality of these sandals.

I was originally going to get a sportier looking pair, but when I laid eyes on these I knew I wanted them instead. They are rugged enough for my jetty fishing and mountain-rampaging shenanigans, but go well with other clothes when dressed a little more..."casual-urban."

The soles have a noticeable springiness to them, and are extremely comfortable. The insoles have a sort of velvet/suede feel that I like. They also just happen to fit like a glove.

I've noticed shoe sizes tend to vary a bit between manufactures, but I ordered 10.5, and they seem to be dead-on with what I consider to be a proper 10.5 size shoe. I rarely give 5 stars unless something exceeds my expectations, and this gets a 5!

Update: it's been 2 years and a few months, and I've pretty much worn them everyday (I use them at least as house slippers daily, even if I didn't wear them out that day). They have seen a lot of adventures (including lots of water exposure) and rough treatment and are still perfectly intact. Amazing build quality. One thing I will point out is the springiness I mentioned doesn't last forever. The soles will flatten a bit over time. I noticed it in one sandal before the other, and it felt kinda weird, but nothing too bad. They have both lost their springiness at this point in time, but they are still quite comfortable without it. I still give it 5 stars, and will be buying another pair when these become too ratty to wear. Teva CSRs, if you're reading this: Please don't change or discontinue these, unless it's to improve the longevity of the soles' bounciness!

4Great Sandals  Jul 21, 2010
By Todd Sowle
The sandals look and feel great, like any Teva sandal. I like the leather look as it's a bit dressier than most of my other cloth/rubber Teva sandals. The only drawback is the SMELL! The only difference I can find between this pair of sandals and all of the others in my closet is the "foot bed" area. All of my other sandals seem to have some type of synthetic area where your foot rests in the sandal. This pair seems to have more of a brushed suede to match the leather upper. I've owned these sandals for two weeks and they are now resigned to my gargae as the stink up the house.

If you sweat at all I would reccomend purchasing a sandal without the suede foot bed

5wonderful sandal  Jan 09, 2009
By Gerard Garcia
I owned another pair of Teva sandals (don't know the name of that last pair) that I wore for over six years, but after it started falling apart, I needed a new pair.

I was initially worried about the footbed of the sandal because I have hyperhidrosis and even though I had ETS performed in 1997, I still have some moderate to profuse sweating in my polar extremities (primarily, my hands and feet). The microfiber of this sandal is supposedly treated with Microban and the footbed is supposed to wick away any moisture...and when wearing these sandals, if my feet are sweating, they're not sliding around. Only time will tell if the Microban will still work months or years from now.

Anyway, these sandals are very comfortable and I can see many long days spent in these sandals in many years to come.

There were many other excellent Teva deals, but these sandals looked more traditional and with the dressier leather, I don't feel so guilty about wearing river sandals while I'm walking around the park or using them for everyday chores.

5Great for Walking  Sep 15, 2009
By CLJSR
These sandals fit well, no rubbing, no rough spots, without socks! The cushioning is good, enough to protect the feet, not too much to cause loss of stability or control. And they look good.

2bad stitching  May 11, 2012
By Rex B. Conaway
These would be great sandals if the stitching was better, they rubbed my feet raw in several places. Its too bad because the sandals look well made and I like them. Maybe once i break them in it will get better.
