This is is PERFECT purse for someone who likes their hands free! The strap is supposed to be longer so that it fits across the body leaving your hands free. Great purse for the amusement park, the casino and everyday use. It is not too heavy but will accommodate alot. The cell phone pocket is convenient to grab the phone quick. The attached wallet makes it easy to grab the right credit card or insurance card and there is a zippered compartment inside to hold your money, yet big enough to keep your check book there if you take that with you. The larger compartment is large enough for your makeup, kleenex, digital camera, receipts, pens, paper, sunglasses and even has another zippered section. It is not too deep where you have to really dig to find something either. THIS IS THE BEST DESIGNED ORGANIZED BAG I HAVE EVER OWNED....bar none! You can leave it on your body while you carry a child as well. It doesn't jump around on your shoulder when you walk like the shoulder strap kind. It is like a new version of the fanny pack, only a million times better because of the extra pockets and the way it looks on. LOVE THE CELL PHONE POCKET and the attached wallet on this! The leather is super soft and it looks expensive. BEST PURSE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT ....LOVE IT.....LOVE IT............after one of these I bought 4 other colors!

I received this as a gift and have had it 6 months. It was the perfect size for me and have loved it until the grommet holding the strap to the purse came loose and broke. The purse is now useless and I am very disappointed that the quality was not better.

I bought this purse about 8 months ago and have used it daily. I loved it. The cell phone pocket even fits my iPhone with a bulky case. There are lots of slots to stash my zillions of cuppers cards and store discount cards in the wallet section. Loved the long strap... until it broke today. The strap goes through a grommet on the side and is stitched in place there. That's where it gave. Looking at it, repair is not an option. I had bought a leather purse because I wanted longevity. This did not last nearly long enough :(

I got this bag to replace a really bad purchase of a "genuine leather" bag that turned out to be half plastic. I assure everyone that this bag is zero plastic! The entire bag is good leather. The interior is cloth and leather. The cloth is a sort of cotton/poly blend, would be my guess. It looks like it should wear well. This bag has many great pockets. On the front, there is a small zipper pocket, and a flap pocket with a magnetic catch. I think this pocket is for a flip-phone, but I am not a cell phone owner, so I put my keys in that pocket, and it's perfect.
The other side of the bag has an open pocket on a zippered pocket. The zippered pocket contains a wallet section. It has at least a dozen slots for credit and ID cards and another zippered pocket where you can keep your cash.
The center of the bag is accessed through a zipper, and inside the center is an open pocket and another zippered pocket. This purse really has a lot of organizational storage. The only place it falls down is that it is a little too small.
My wallet would only fit in the center section in an upright position. It was so close to the top of the bag that I knew eventually I would try to zip the wallet into the center zipper in a hurry, undoubtedly ruining the zipper. I put all my wallet stuff in the wallet section of the purse, bye bye wallet. Just something else new to get used to.
I have my sunglasses in the center section of the bag, which makes it kind of lumpy because this bag is flat, has no gusset. It's hard to describe, but let's say it is like an envelope, not a paper bag, with a bottom in it. See?
I almost forgot the strap. It is rounded, like a cord wrapped with the leather. It is quite long. I am 5'7" and the bag is right at my hand when I hang it on my shoulder. Of course, if I wore it cross body, it would not be so long. Just thought I should say in case you are short.
As I said, the only dislike I have on this bag is the size. If it were about an inch bigger each direction, it would be near perfect. As it is, I really like it, and would definitely recommend this one to anyone who wants a leather bag.

I NEEDED SOMETHING TO HELP MY SHOULDER, AND STILL BE EFFICIENT. THIS PURSE IS NICE AND I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR IT. WE LIVE IN CALIF WHERE WE WALK A LOT, IT IS NICE TO WALK AND CARRY IT, IF SOMEONE WERE SHORT THEY MAY NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE SHOE REPAIR FOR A SHORTER HANDLE.
