Great shoe Apr 17, 2010
My husband and I were on the search for a shoe to replace our beloved "Muck Boots"' as they tampered with the fit. The Jungle Moc almost fits the bill except for the fact there is not a waterproof model for women. Extremely comfortable and water resistant. They do make a model with Gortex foe men but not for women. What's up with that?

My wife's very happy with this. It's comfortable and stylish enough to wear for casual evening events.

This is my 5th pair of jungle mocs - I'll admit I'm an addict! No, these are not the sexiest shoe out there, in fact they are pretty macho. However, since I am on my feet all day, comfort wins over high fashion.

The sole construction is the best on these shoes! I've tried other brands of the same moc style, they have thinner soles and it makes a big difference. These Merrells give you that extra umph for shock absorption and heel and arch support and are the perfect thickness on the bottom. I hope Merrell never skimps on those soles! I have feet and ankle problems and these are the ones I choose if I have to do alot of walking or shopping. I have a pair in Gunsmoke for 5+ years now and they are still in excellent condition! I've just had to replace the inserts. They are a tiny bit wide for my foot, even though they are the M width but they go with everything and feel so great on the bottom of my feet. I'm eyeing up other colors now.
Oh yeah, these are the shoes I took to Europe and could only wear these shoes after I dislocated my foot, chipped a bone and tore a tendon right before my trip. Thank you Merrell! I didn't have to cancel my trip or miss the rock concerts I wanted to attend.

Extremely Comfortable Dec 13, 2008
These may not be the most glamorous looking shoes, but they are very great for my feet. Since I am on my feet all day at work, I needed a shoe that would be comfortable for an 8 hour day. I think I have about 2 pairs now and may have to buy a third since I've worn my second pair out! Anyway, these are great shoes if you are on your feet all day or if you just want a comfortable shoe.
